Paul Forgey (4G)
Paul Forgey is the CEO/Owner and head instructor with over 37 years' experience.
Paul served in the U.S. Marine's in the elite FAST Company (Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team). He was a team leader and Marine Corps Security Force Training Cadre instructor(8153) who was responsible for training of special operations units in Close Quarters Battle (CQB) skill sets along with Anti and Counter Terrorism security procedures. He was responsible for training all oversees naval installation security teams. He served as the weapons armory chief for the Marine Corps Security Force Regiment in Norfolk Virginia one of the Marine Corps largest and most diversified
Armories.
He worked in the President Reagan administration and was assigned to OPNAV Security (Operational Naval Security) in the pentagon that oversaw all security details for the Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations and Naval Command Center. He provided security for Secretary of Defense Casper Weinberger, Naval Secretary John Lehman and Naval Secretary James Webb along with all the Joint Chiefs of Staff and visiting dignitaries from foreign countries.
While assigned to 2nd Battalion 4th Marines he was a team leader of the Marine Expeditionary Unit Special Operations Capable (MEUSOC) battalion landing team (BLT). Paul had the task of training numerous foreign military units around the world to include the Turkish infantry, Italian army, Spanish Military, Moroccan Army, French Military and Portuguese Military in MOUT Operations (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) operations.
He was hand selected for the Marine Corps coveted Super Squad competition as a team leader. This is a very high honor to compete against the best Marines in the Marine Corps and the British Royal Marines.
He has worked for the U.S Department of Justice as an Officer in the Special Investigative Service (SIS) for the BOP. He worked for the Transportation Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security helping to establish the initial security roll out of the agency after 9/11. He also worked for the Georgia Department of Corrections in under death sentence (UDS) and mental health departments. He is mental health and behavioral health Georgia State certified.
Paul has received specialized training from the following agencies U.S. Secret Service, FBI, U.S. State Department Diplomatic School, U.S. Marshal Service, Georgia Department of Corrections. He worked with and instructed the U.S Navy Seals, Marine Corps Force Recon, Marine Corps STA (Surveillance, Target, Acquisition) Platoons, Marine Corps Security Force Battalion FAST (Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Teams). He has worked for the U. S. Marshal Service managing the Justice Prisoner Alien Transport System known as (JPATS) for MVM Security and contract work with other corporate entities including the Atlanta Braves.He presently provides Executive Protection and staff security for an internationally known executive in Atlanta Georgia.
He is licensed by the Georgia Private Detective and Security Agency as a Classroom and Firearms Instructor License# CFTR001199. He is Georgia State Post Certified, National Association of Professional Martial Artist Certified in Tae Ki Jutsu, Hapkido, Bunjikan and Tae Kwon Doe. BLS,CPR, Tactical First Aid Certified along with being a Stop The Bleed National Instructor.
Paul leads a team of instructors with over 135 years of combined experience in Firearms, Tactical Training Skill Sets, Tactical Medicine and Security procedures.
